US judge rules Google must face antitrust claims from some advertisers, dismisses others

A U.S. judge ruled Friday that Alphabet’s Google must face a class-action lawsuit proposed by advertisers claiming it monopolized the ad exchange market, allowing the case to proceed.

But U.S. District Judge Kevin Castel dismissed some other antitrust claims, including those focused on ad-buying tools used by large advertisers.
