Geri Halliwell’s marriage to Christian Horner is said to be ‘in question’ after private texts sent by her husband to an employee were leaked.

The Spice Girls star, 51, was humiliated after a slew of intimate texts between the F1 chief and a colleague were revealed just a day after he was cleared of any wrongdoing.

Sources close to Geri say she was “relieved and delighted” when the case against her husband, Red Bull Racing boss Horner, was dismissed on Wednesday.

Ginger Spice Geri endured three weeks of torment during which she reportedly stood by her man after being left in “floods of tears” when the scandal first broke.

Insiders claim Geri even begged Horner to “make this go away”, reports the Mail.

Now the singer is “extremely humiliated” again just a day after she thought Horner, who she married in 2015, was in the clear.

Friends of the couple say their marriage is “now called into question for the first time” after the flirty text message exchange between Horner and a female employee was shared.

Geri’s friends fear the latest bombshell will ‘destroy’ the mother-of-two, who shares son Monty, seven, with Horner.

A friend told the Mail: “Everything fell apart.

“The tears stopped when the judgment fell on Wednesday, now they will certainly have started again. It will destroy her.

“From the beginning, Christian promised there was nothing in it. »

The couple were reportedly engaged in remote talks as their aides attempted to manage the crisis.

It remains unclear whether Geri had seen any of the messages before they were distributed.

Horner, the team director, was in Bahrain when the messages leaked on Thursday – and he was photographed in training today.

He flew to the Gulf kingdom on Wednesday before being cleared after being accused of inappropriate behavior and sending inappropriate messages.

In the meantime, Geri was back home in the UK, but had to fly out before the weekend.

Hundreds of WhatsApp messages were sent to F1 teams and media yesterday.

Although there do not appear to be any explicit images in the messages, some of the texts are sexually suggestive in nature.

Messages appeared to suggest Horner was harassing the woman for photos while others discussed a solo sex act in an airplane toilet.

The woman – who works with Horner at the all-conquering Grand Prix team’s headquarters in Milton Keynes – apparently tired of her boss’s calls for photos and sexy chats, according to the WhatsApp file.

She asks him to stop – and even asks him how her father would feel if Geri behaved the same way with one of his employees.

The texts also suggest Horner apologized when he realized he had offended – and responded by asking the woman to delete her entire WhatsApp history.

The mega-leak appears to be consistent with the initial accusation made regarding the alleged “sexually suggestive” messages sent by Horner.

It was later claimed that a lawyer’s investigation into the team leader focused on “controlling and coercive” behavior towards the woman.

There is no indication that images containing sexual content are included in the WhatApps messages leaked so far.

The leak was also calculated to cause maximum damage to Red Bull Racing boss Horner’s career – just 24 hours before the new Grand Prix season begins in Bahrain.

Horner, who married the pop star in 2015, has always vehemently denied the allegations and has vowed to fight to clear his name.

“I will not comment on anonymous speculation, but I repeat, I have always denied these allegations,” he said.

“I respected the integrity of the independent investigation and cooperated fully at every stage.

“This was a thorough and fair investigation conducted by an independent specialist lawyer and resulted in the dismissal of the complaint filed.”
