Red Bull F1 boss Christian Horner has broken his silence after being cleared of any inappropriate behavior.

The F1 boss, 50, will remain at the helm of the team after an internal investigation into allegations of inappropriate behavior by a female employee.

Red Bull team principal Horner, who is married to former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, was initially under investigation for alleged controlling behavior at work.

But it was later alleged he sent the employee “sexually suggestive” messages.

Horner vehemently denied all claims that threatened his position as leader of world champion Max Verstappen’s all-conquering team.

Speaking for the first time after the investigation concluded, Horner was entirely professional and eager in his role at Red Bull.

“I’m just happy the process is over,” Horner told Sky Sports.

“Obviously I can’t comment on that, but here the focus now is on the Grand Prix and the season ahead and on defending our two titles. I cannot comment further, but the process has been carried out and concluded.

When pressed again, Horner did not bite.

“Again, I’m not going to give you any further comments on this, but I’m happy to be here in Bahrain and with the team focused on the upcoming season. The team has never been stronger,” he said.

This last statement speaks volumes after the season where Max Verstappen won the drivers’ championship after winning 18 races, and the team won the first double in its history.

However, his Spice Girl wife Geri’s reaction was more telling, as she was said to be “relieved and delighted” after the news was released, according to The sun.

The 51-year-old singer was firmly alongside Horner, who will remain Red Bull Racing team principal.

The star had endured three weeks of torment following these claims.

Yesterday Horner, 50, was told he would stay with the team until the end of the season after the woman’s claims were dismissed.

Geri would have been delighted with the news.

A source said: “It’s been a hell of a few weeks for Christian and his family.

“As he always said, these claims are ‘crazy.’

“An exhaustive investigation was carried out and the allegations were found to be absurd.

“Geri has been rock solid behind Christian – and his whole family is relieved and delighted it’s over. These feelings are there, but no one close to Christian wants to celebrate much after what he experienced.

“At the moment he is completely focused on winning races.”

Former racing driver Christian’s £8 million-a-year (A$15.6 million) job secured after a three-week internal investigation dismissed the unidentified employee’s accusations .

Geri was reportedly left “in tears” when the scandal first broke earlier this month and was supported by friends including her Spice Girls bandmates.
