However, on March 26, 2018, Schneider’s decades-long career with Nick would come to an end. According to the outlet, Nickelodeon and Schneider’s production company “agreed not to extend” their “current agreement.”

“After numerous conversations together about next directions and future opportunities, Nickelodeon and our long-time creative partner Dan Schneider/Schneider’s Bakery have agreed not to extend the current agreement,” Nickelodeon and Schneider reportedly shared in a joint statement, according to Deadline. “Given that several Schneider’s Bakery projects are nearing completion, both parties agreed that this is a natural time for Nickelodeon and Schneider’s Bakery to pursue other opportunities and projects.”

Nickelodeon reportedly thanked Schneider for creating “a series of enduring and groundbreaking children’s television shows” for Nick “over the years.”

“We thank Dan and his producers, executives and social media team at Schneider’s Bakery for their immeasurable contributions to Nickelodeon, and we wish them the best in their future endeavors. Allegations Reportedly Stirred About Dan Schneider in 2018

According to Nellie Andreeva’s 2018 report Deadline report, there were “several complaints of abusive behavior against Schneider filed by members of its staff.”

Andreeva added that “Schneider was under a cloud of suspicion,” which was allegedly due to his “treatment of some young stars on his shows.”
