‘Friends in Low Places’ is Garth Brooks’ new reality show: Meet The Cast

Garth Brooks and his wife, Trisha Yearwood, pulled out all the stops to open Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk. The bar takes its name from one of the singer’s most iconic songs.

(A “honky-tonk” generally refers to an unsavory bar or dance hall and tends to involve country music; we suspect Brooks’ establishment is a lot honorable)

It’s not enough for them to open a location on Nashville’s Lower Broadway. They also open the doors to a Prime Video Documentaries.

The reality TV show, Friends in low places, will follow Garth Brooks and Trish Yearwood and others as they build this four-story bar from the ground up. You can watch the trailer for the series below.

“It was much more than I expected. That said, what we have built is much more than just a business,” commented Brooks.

He added: “This is by far the craziest ride I have ever done. »

Opening a high-end bar and restaurant is a big undertaking

As for the rest of the cast, we’ll be watching Garth Brooks’ touring team and the Strategic Hospitality group. Benjamin and Max Goldberg are the brothers behind a recent boom in Nashville’s dining scene. They will therefore oversee the hospitality situation of Friends In Low Places.

Jenny Deathridge Bratt and Camille Tambunting are both go-getters for Strategic HOspitality, so they will directly oversee construction.

“If you are one of the lucky ones who come to this city and receive its many blessings, don’t you owe Nashville something?” » Brooks suggested, before referring to himself in the third person. “Garth Brooks owes a lot to Music City.”

The 54,715 square foot facility will be the largest on Broadway.

Looks like the bar’s “classic honky-tonk” tone will definitely suit Nashville, with live music and space for dancing. For some, it’s sensory hell, but for others, that’s a big part of the appeal.

Notably, the menu is particularly special, as Trisha Yearwood whipped up some of Brooks’ favorites. It helps when your wife is the host of Trisha’s Southern Cooking on Food Network and also a bestselling cookbook author.
