Former Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal and three others sue Elon Musk over unpaid severance: report

Four former top Twitter executives, including former CEO Parag Agrawal, have sued Elon Musk.

San Francisco:

Four former top Twitter executives, including former CEO Parag Agrawal, have sued Elon Musk for more than $128 million in severance payments, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

The other plaintiffs are Ned Segal, former Twitter chief financial officer; Vijaya Gadde, its former legal director; and Sean Edgett, its former general counsel, according to the report.

The executives, who led the company through a lengthy and sometimes hostile takeover process in which they sued the billionaire to go ahead with the acquisition after Musk changed his mind, claim Musk fired them for gross negligence and willful misconduct, which they deny. reported the WSJ.

Social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
