Echo’s Rumored Budget Sets Record for Marvel’s Disney Plus Shows

Marvel has set records with its Disney Plus offerings, with shows like Secret invasion boxing with successful films as far as their budget is concerned. However, it seems that not every show breaks the bank. A new report from Forbes suggests Echo set the record for the cheapest Marvel Cinematic Universe series with a budget of just $40 million.

Of course, this figure must be taken in context. Echo is a show with minimal CGI and much less star power compared to other Disney Plus shows like Secret invasion, She-Hulk: lawyeror even Loki. This doesn’t prove that the budgets for these shows were exaggerated, just that Marvel can create character-driven shows on the cheap. Given the success of Echoperhaps this is the direction the MCU should focus on in the future.
