Britney Spears to Justin Timberlake: Go on a F-ckin River Yourself!

Britney Spears is feuding with Justin Timberlake.

There is a sentence that we did not think we would write in 2024.

However, here we are a few months after Britney released a memoir in which she recounted a number of very personal details about her relationship with Timberlake in the early 2000s.

Spears wrote in this book about how she aborted Timberlake’s baby at the time because former bandmate Bo “wasn’t happy” about the pregnancy and “didn’t want to be a father.”

Britney also told readers that Timberlake cheated on her.

Apparently feeling guilty about spilling all that tea decades later, Spears praised Timberlake’s new song just a few days ago, writing on Instagram that it was “so good” and even adding:

“I want to apologize for some of the things I wrote in my book. If I have offended any of the people I truly care about, I am deeply sorry.

But for Timberlake?

It seems that this mea culpa is far too little and comes too late.

Performing on stage this week in New York, JT didn’t call his famous ex by name, but he did unequivocally declare to the public:

“I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to no one, damn it.”

It’s worth noting that he said this immediately before singing the 2002 track “Cry Me a River,” which was inspired by Spears allegedly cheating on him during their teenage romance.

Fast forward to Thursday afternoon and Britney having clearly learned of Timberlake’s powerful non-apology the night before…

Alongside a photo of a full moon and a basketball hoop, the pop singer wrote the following on Instagram:

“Someone told me that someone was talking about me in the street!!!

“Do you want to take it to court or are you going to go home crying for your mother like you did last time??? I’m not sorry!!!”

Last December in Las Vegas, Timberlake said during a concert that he meant no disrespect before also singing “Cry Me a River.”

So he’s singing a literally different tune right now, almost certainly because of Britney revisiting his book and the sections about their relationship.

“Justin didn’t let Britney’s fans get him down,” said source claims in new issue from us every week.

“He believes his music and performance will speak for themselves and looks forward to reconnecting with his fans on stage.”

What if he could make some headlines by reigniting a rivalry with his former high-profile partner?

We don’t think Timberlake is above it either.
