Ari Fletcher gives fans a deeper look into her upbringing after sitting down with her biological father for the first time.

Ari Fletcher sits down with his biological father

Fletcher’s meeting with his father took place during the latest episode of “The Impact Atlanta.” The second season of the reality show premiered October 5 and features Fletcher alongside other Atlanta socialites. Dess Dior, Arrogant Taerapper Lakeyahand others.

In the October 26 episode, viewers saw Fletcher agree to meet his biological father, according to BET. In a clip obtained by The shadow roomFletcher sat across from her father in what appeared to be an empty restaurant.

The clip began as Fletcher’s father reflected on his life during his upbringing.

“Most of the time, my life was about my work,” Fletcher’s father said. “Like, I worked crazy hours – ten and twelve hours a day until you were 18.”

The couple’s meeting becomes moving

In tears, Fletcher replied to his father: “It doesn’t mean anything. »

However, his father disagreed.

“You weren’t there for the graduations, you weren’t there for the dances, for the prom,” Fletcher told his father. “I feel like I’m completely missing out on my life.”

Fletcher’s father explained that he was “looking for happiness” for himself, and that’s what he “got caught up in.”

The 28-year-old then asked her father if he “feels okay now”, to which he declined. The moment then got more intense when Fletcher pointed out that she was “out of child support” and now they should “try to do it.”

In a post-recorded confessional, the 28-year-old reflected on her emotions at that moment.

“That’s bullshit,” Fletcher remarked. “I want to come here, take his point of view and hear his truth, it’s a bit of a disappointment for me.”

As the clip cut back to Fletcher and his father’s table, he began to explain that although he doesn’t see his daughter often, he is able to see that she is “doing well” through photos on Instagram .
