2 dead in shooting in McDonald’s parking lot in France

A woman and a man, both aged in their twenties, were killed in a shooting Saturday evening in the French Mediterranean city of Marseille, and three other people were injured, prosecutors told AFP .
“The five people were in their car in the parking lot of a McDonald’s when a vehicle stopped nearby, killing the driver and the front passenger with bursts from a Kalashnikov assault rifle,” the police said on Sunday. city attorney general, Nicolas Bessone.
Of the three injured passengers in the backseat — two men and a woman — two were seriously injured, they added.
